Eschenbach's aplanatic magnifiers provide an image which is free from spherical aberration and has edge to edge sharpness. This is achieved by using a 2 lens system consisting of two plano convex lenses. The lenses are made from high quality, lightweight PXM.
The range is ideal for reading and looking at pictures for long periods of time, due to the light weight materials used and the ergonomical shaped handle.

Aspheric lenses allow a large lens diameter even with a high level of magnification and therefore a wide field of view. Eschenbach's Aspheric 11 range of aspheric magnifiers are particularly suitable for reading and looking at pictures with adequate ambient lighting. These aspheric magnifiers can be used with the user's normal reading glasses. Both sides fo the lenses are coated with anti-scratch hard coating.
